Norma (Farwell) Seekins

Norma was one of the sweetest ladies I ever met - probably the sweetest - period. She loved my boys when they were little and looked forward to our trick or treating visits. We had to plan on a good half hour at the Seekin's house. Apple picking at the Seekin's was always a high point as well. She always smiled and accepted life as it came. She leaves a special place in my heart.

Norma was a special lady. I remember meeting her and being with her with Lynette. She always made us smile with her wisdom, advice and comments. My hope is that she and Lynette, her beloved daughter, are with each other once again.

I did not know Norma, but I have been told she was a beautiful volunteer and treasurer of the Women's Auxiliary for The Salvation Army. We are so grateful for her years of service and we send our deepest sympathies for your loss.

Mrs. Seekins was one of my second grade teachers. I remember her wearing a necklace made from paper clips, which I thought was very cool. Sincere condolences to her family. She sounds like a lovely person who will be remembered fondly.

Krista and I will always be thankful to Norma and Ray as they allowed us 'newlyweds' - fresh from college in 1994 to call 145 Blanchard Road in Cumberland our 'Home' for the few years of our marriage and even our son's first birthday party. Great woman, great family. Our condolences to the family.
