I knew Tullio from his days at Drew University. I watched him brief incoming Freshmen right before my concert on campus. I had never seen a more honest, bold, compassionate, and fair sounding address to his students that ended with his pointing towards his Director of Student Activities office and the words “just knock on my door”. Your students loved you. Your visiting performers loved “that cool guy with that little ponytail”! Tullio, thanks for living, and for helping so many others live “their best”.

Tullio brought my band in to perform at Fitchburg State some 30 years ago. He was such a warm guy and appreciative of everyone. We had a great time. I had no idea he was no longer with us. Rest in Peace Tullio. And thank you for everything

I had the pleasure of working alongside Tullio during our time together at Colby College. His energy, enthusiasm and (at times!) outrageousness were indeed his hallmark. Tullio was an unabashed supporter of student development and empowerment. His belief that in order to develop, students must assess, attempt, apply and assess again, which indeed is exactly what college learning should be all about. His counsel and support were appreciated by those of us fortunate enough to work with him. However and more importantly, Tullio was a trusted friend. His loyalty, sense of humor and encouragement were lifelong and enduring traits. These are the memories that I choose to remember and cherish of him.

Tullio - may you rest in peace, you old warrior.  Also, I hope the reception up there allows you to continue to pick up the FAN.... :)

Tullio was the consummate storyteller and had knowledge on just about any topic out there. He genuinely cared about people and I enjoyed working with him.
